TSA Queer Spaces Booth at the 2025 Pride Street Fair
This Pride weekend—Friday, June 27 to Sunday, June 29—come visit the Toronto Society of Architects booth at the Pride Toronto Street Fair and learn more about our city’s queer spaces, past and present.
Located on Charles Street, between Isabella and Charles, this year’s TSA booth will include a mini-exhibit sharing the Toronto Queer Spaces Database, an ongoing project by the TSA to catalog and document Toronto’s 2SLGBTQIA+ spaces, past and present. Started in 2021 as part of the TSA’s Pride initiatives and now featuring over 250 spaces, this database has been built through a mix of archival research, interviews and community input in the hopes of preserving the history of Toronto’s queer spaces and better understand their urban and spatial characteristics. You can even participate in the project, submitting corrections or new spaces by speaking to one of our volunteers or completing an online submission form.
In addition to the exhibit, we will also be selling some limited-edition, custom-designed TSA merchandise celebrating our city’s 2SLGBTQIA+ spaces, with all purchases going directly to support our work helping tell the stories of Toronto’s built environment.
So come say hi, support our work, and learn more about Toronto’s 2SLGBTQIA+ spaces this Pride!
